10th May 2025 Open Day
Today we held a very successful open day in the glorious sunshine.
Over 40 families were helped to find graves using online resources and the original burial record books. We had visitors from as far afield as Harrogate, Norwich, Shropshire…. and Canada.
There was a nature walk with glimpses of our resident green woodpeckers, an interesting Commonwealth War Graves Commission exhibit and walk, and a self guided tour of interesting graves.
We were also pleased to show the first 11 of our new zone markers, only 100 left to install!
