Bulb Planting October 2024

In the Autumn we were out planting bulbs in the cemetery.

The bulbs have been funded through the "Our City, Our River" project which is led by Derby City Council in partnership with the Environment Agency. The bulbs have been selected to be in keeping with the environment and will hopefully spread in future years. For example, English Bluebells were planted between the trees going down to the A52 and Snowdrops were planted in the baby areas.

There are nearly 10,000 bulbs in total so it took a few sessions to get them all in the ground.
